Hands-on: M3.1 Flash rebuilds a koi pond scene with better self-correction and ~70% lower agent cost
Recreating a koi pond scene with M3.1 Flash, the author found it catches and corrects its own mistakes better and recovers from drift, at $0.15/$0.60 per million tokens and roughly 70% lower cost on agentic tasks than M3.
Tried recreating the koi pond from my last Space Bunny post with M3.1 Flash. And ngl, it surprised me. M3.1 Flash feels way more composed, and few things clearly stood out: ⟢ It caught mistakes way better instead of just building on top of them. ⟢ It’s much better at correcting itself and getting back on track after a drift. Token efficiency is ridiculous too. It’s $0.15/$0.60 per 1M tokens, and overall cost on agentic tasks is around 70% less than M3. What do you guys think so far?
