Anthropic absolutely mogged OpenAI with the new releases. The single thing I wanted from OpenAI was Astra-class intelligence that wouldn't burn through a weeks' worth of tokens in a few hours. We just got a cheaper Sol 5.6. I applaud them for delivering the best models lower down on the Pareto frontier, but that's not useful for me personally. Anthropic delivered a model unquestionably better than Astra that we can get a tonne of usage out of on our weekly subscriptions, with no 50% limits or any other nonsense. I left it running all night on work, and I'm extremely impressed with the results. Great job Anthropic! It's still pretty slow to use though. If they also allowed us to use fast mode using the subscription that would be god tier (we can but hope).
