i genuinely think openai underestimated how good opus 5.5 was going to be. and considering how much stronger their internal models already are, anthropic might have just forced them to show some of that capability earlier than they wanted to. wouldn’t surprise me at all if we see 6.1 astra much sooner now. and if that happens, i wonder if bel gets moved up too.
