Yeah. GPT-6 Astra is already in the same frontier tier as Opus 5.5, it’s just way more expensive, so it’s pretty reasonable to expect GPT-6.1 Astra to come in stronger. My main concern isn’t even whether OpenAI can “beat Opus 5.5.” It’s Fable 5.5. That one is still just a rumor, but according to what I’ve heard, it’s supposed to be EVEN STRONGER THAN OPUS 5.5. And honestly, I think that’s the model OpenAI is watching much more closely.
