Gemini 4 Pro / Flash: benchmarks, hands-on tests and leaks

A user generated a 3D paper-cut style fashion illustration with Gemini 4 Argon and shared the full prompt, which can serve as a reference for style control and color handling.

On the same repository with 9 planted defects, Gemini 4 Argon fixed 7/9 in both Cursor and Gemini CLI, but Cursor thought longer before acting while the CLI moved faster, at €0.92 in API cost.

A user found that in Antigravity, Gemini models (Argon Low/Med/High and 3.8 Flash) draw from a quota pool separate from Claude and GPT models, so long Argon tasks don't use up Opus 5.5 allowance.

Four models were given the same cassette tape 3D effect prompt, and the author opened a poll asking readers to pick the best result.

The author says Gemini 4 Argon plus Seedance 2.5 turned a single idea into a full cinematic 3D animation, and shares the complete prompt.

A Japanese physical AI news roundup says Google's Gemini 4 Argon is moving into robot control and self-improvement, alongside NEURA, Pi API and LoopWAM updates.

The developer says GraphJin compiles data, APIs and files into governed graph queries, with no unsafe operations in 3,351 attempts across 10 models including Gemini 4 Argon.

A poster claims Gemini 4 Argon solved a fusion energy problem in hours that humans had spent 59 years on, and argues scientific breakthroughs are about to accelerate.

A poster says Gemini 4 Argon is Google's most powerful model yet, competing with Fable/Astra, but the month-old Opus 5.5 offers better value and Fable 5.5 makes leaving Claude Code even harder.

Third-party platform Antseed now offers Gemini 4 Argon for complex coding, deep research and multi-step tasks, at lower prices.

An Arabic-language poster compares the two models on a ship-in-a-bottle scene: Claude Opus 5.5 adds more realistic detail, while Gemini 4 Argon delivers a solid result at roughly 64x lower cost.

Given the same brief and reference image, Opus 5.5 finished the Blender model and three.js walking animation in 53 minutes and Gemini 4 Argon in 76.
