Gemini 4 Argon is now available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers globally on gemini.google and in the app, and Google is asking users what they are building with it.

A user says Gemini 4 Argon has been outright unusable for real code work in their codebases because it aggressively hallucinates about how systems work.

A team used Gemini 4 Argon in Google AI Studio to build an interactive 3D island sandbox where each brush stroke simulates terrain, sand and water physics in real time with custom Three.js and GLSL shaders.

Sergey Brin said that by the time people see Gemini 4 Argon, Google is internally already using a couple of models ahead, and he expects the release cadence to keep accelerating.

Gemini 4 Argon is announced, with five builds from the team shared to demonstrate what it can do.

A day after Gemini 4 Argon launched, Google says it helped clean up a 6-million-line section of Chromium and fixed a class of bugs that crashed Chrome, cutting months of work to weeks.

A breakdown of Gemini 4 Argon access by plan: none on Free and AI Plus, app access plus API credits on AI Pro, and full access on Ultra, with older Flash and Pro models pulled from Antigravity.

Google DeepMind says Gemini 4 Argon is already unlocking scientific breakthroughs in quantum computing, nuclear fusion, protein design and beyond, and is giving 10,000 scientists free access to its highest usage tier in Google Antigravity for six months.
