Gemini 4 Pro / Flash: benchmarks, hands-on tests and leaks

Three models generated a game controller SVG from the same prompt; Fable 5.2 had the cleanest geometry and colors, while Gemini 4 Pro and GPT-6 Astra looked similar but handled details differently.

Google has confirmed Gemini 4's training run, but benchmarks remain under wraps while leaked numbers draw attention.

A reply argues the Arena result came from the regular Flash model, not Gemini 4 Pro, since 4 Pro is no longer available on Arena.

A short post with an image asks Google to stop delaying and release Gemini 4 Pro.

A poster says Gemini hallucinations are getting worse and argues Google should fix the problem before pushing Gemini 4 Pro.

LuminaBench says its SVG test is nearing saturation: Gemini 4 Pro and Astra outputs are nearly perfect, differing only in small errors such as the logo and grips.

A video meme shows Gemini 4 Pro training hard to beat the competition before launch and turning into a clown after it, implying the expectations fell flat.

The author posted a video titled only "Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 4 Pro" with no text explanation, so the demo is only visible by watching it.

A screenshot claiming to show Gemini 4 Pro benchmarks is circulating, and the poster admits the source is unreliable and that Google would not run a model at full load like that.

He says post-training still takes time and Gemini 4 Pro will eventually arrive, but the key question is whether Google can widen the gap between Pro and a stronger Flash enough to justify the Pro tier.

Shahbaztwt rounds up the latest rumors that Google's next model could match Fable and Astra, and says Google may have something big if that gap is real.

A leak claims Google's first Pro checkpoint is ready and being tested on Arena possibly disguised as gemini-3.8-flash, with leaked benchmarks putting it ahead of GPT-6 Astra and Fable 5.1.
