GPT-6 Astra in Practice: Tests, Use Cases, and Feedback

A tiered setup routes small decisions to Jev, exact rules to plain code and only hard problems to Astra, cutting a million decisions from $10,000 to $42.

A user says they cancelled their ChatGPT Pro 200 subscription after 12 months, arguing Anthropic offers more usage and a stronger model for $100 and questioning OpenAI's pricing and direction.

Someone generated a Wednesday-style image with GPT Astra 6, swapped her into a dance using Seedance 2.5, and the clip drew 67.4M views and $27,433, with the account monetizing through subscriptions.

Under the same prompt, Opus 5.5's water physics and waterfall look more alive while Astra's layered island is likened to a birthday cake, with estimated API costs of $13.30 and $12.62.

A list of 10 GitHub repos, from OpenAdapt and OmniParser to UI-TARS, Skyvern, OSWorld and OpenTelemetry, for building an Astra agent that sees the screen, controls apps, navigates the web and verifies results, plus three stack combinations.

A user suggests connecting your repo to the chat interface so GPT-6 Astra Pro can open PRs directly, otherwise the quota included in the $100 and $200 plans goes to waste.

Someone ranked 657 economics problems by difficulty and gave them to Astra's Pro and Ultra tiers to see how many they could solve.

A Flatiron Institute neuroscientist gave GPT-6 Astra a long-standing question about how chaotic brain activity is, and after 100 minutes its answer matched simulations, with the paper crediting GPT-6 and Claude.

A theoretical science researcher says Astra ran independently for 100 minutes with Max thinking to produce an initial derivation that matched large-network simulations, and he is excited about AI-assisted understanding of brain computation.

A developer had Astra run overnight at max reasoning, producing a robot design and a custom PCBA for CAN bus lighting controllers.

The benchmark gave each model $300 and three social accounts to take paid brand clipping jobs, with GPT-6 Astra leading at $9,514.

Naive had AI agents run TikTok, IG and YouTube clipping channels with no human in the loop, and GPT-6 Astra topped the results at $9,514.
