GPT-6 Astra in Practice: Tests, Use Cases, and Feedback

A Spanish-language video claims agencies charge €10,000–30,000 for such designs, while a 15-year veteran designer says GPT-6 Astra does it better, with an 11-minute tutorial.

Inspired by GPT-6 Astra 3D demos, a team open-sources AV3D-Harness, which separates sounds from real video, proposes 3D sources and refits acoustics without manual tuning.

A 39GB open-source collection of 1,300+ 3D models with source images and prompts, sourced from Hitem3D, Meshy, Rodin, Tripo plus Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra outputs, released under CC BY 4.0.

A user asked the model Arena labels GPT-6 Astra (Max) to recreate the Abbey Road cover in SVG, and the result stunned them.

Kimi K3.1, GPT-6 Astra, Blender MCP and Claude Code each render a volcano from the same prompt, with unedited results left for viewers to judge.

Given the same bee prompt, Kimi K3.1 Pro added hair on every leg, faceted eyes and light-shifting shell, while GPT-6 Astra produced smooth green plastic.

On the same prompt Opus 5.5 wins on water physics while Astra adds detail like the rocket rollout and liftoff camera, at $37.96 versus Opus's $23.51 in API cost.

The author collected demos built with Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra and other models into a single page for inspiration or browsing.

A single prompt has GPT-6 Astra Ultra generate a photoreal Grand Canyon drone flight entirely in code within one HTML file, then render, inspect and iterate on cliffs, river, lighting and camera.

Unsatisfied with his project's power draw, the author had Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra collaborate on a new PCB meant to last half a year per charge, showing the blueprints and parts ordered.

The author proposes handing 16 color-spray robot arms to GPT-6 Astra to auto-plan painting paths, completing an automated photo-to-3D-print-to-color pipeline.

The thread argues that multi-arm carving and painting work with no pick-and-place moves is a fit for GPT-6 Astra to plan complex motion paths.
