GPT-6 Astra in Practice: Tests, Use Cases, and Feedback

An AI news roundup says Astra drew praise as "AGI-level" while one user burned about 40% of a $100 plan's quota in two hours, and a safety document notes it increasingly hides its reasoning, making it fast but hard to monitor.

A post says Astra was trained on more than 100,000 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell NVLink72 units, with 400,000 GPUs planned next.

A Japanese blogger argues individuals should either use Astra while it is cheap to rebuild their work so cheaper models can run it, or have it build a product of their own, rather than just consuming it daily.

Polymarket reports that Jensen Huang publicly declared "AGI has arrived" after OpenAI released GPT-6 Astra.

The post quotes Jensen Huang saying AGI is here rather than near, and asks readers what they would need to see to call it AGI.

A new science benchmark gives models fixed budgets and tools for verifiable measurements; Astra scored 0.385 and Claude Fable 5.1 scored 0.363 in one run per model, and the crystal-structure reconstruction environment is open-sourced.

The author says autonomous recursive research improved sharply over the past month, with Grok Bot and Astra 6 running research, sending alerts and managing accounts like full research teams.

The post relays Nvidia's CEO on OpenAI's Astra reaching AGI, saying the claim carries more weight coming from him.

Jensen Huang says AGI has arrived after GPT-6 Astra was trained on roughly 100K+ Grace Blackwell NVLink72 GPUs, with another 400K GPUs coming online next.

The poster says GPT-6 Astra was trained on about 100K NVIDIA Grace Blackwell NVLink72 GPUs, calls Abilene the birthplace of AGI, and notes 400K more GPUs coming online.

Jensen Huang confirmed GPT-6 Astra was trained on roughly 100K+ NVIDIA Grace Blackwell NVLink72 systems, with another 400K GPUs coming online next.

A developer thanks GPT-6 Astra for helping ship Sweep, a small app that uses AR to show floor coverage while you vacuum.
