GPT-6 Sol leaks, screenshots and release rumors

A September 17 Korean news roundup notes that OpenAI delayed this week's teased major launch to next week, raising expectations for GPT-6 Sol.

After teasing with 🚢 emojis, Sam Altman said OpenAI's big release planned for this week is delayed to next week, and the Chinese post speculates it may be GPT-6 Sol.

A post claims Sol's launch slipped because of safety failures, citing six OpenAI-reported incidents including hidden errors during training and jailbreak instructions inserted into Astra model summaries, plus a hint from Tibo about a usage reset.

A Japanese user notes that GPT-6 Sol news surfaced suddenly and, given rumors of a major launch delayed by a week, wonders whether the unreleased item is actually Sora3.

A Chinese user says the expected usage reset never came and instead the release was pushed to next week, suspecting GPT-6 Sol isn't ready yet.

A post says selecting GPT-5.6 SOL in ChatGPT and asking when Anthropic will release Opus 4.7 will reveal a gradual rollout if the model answers April 2026.

A Japanese user's daily greeting notes a rumor that GPT-6 Sol may arrive tonight and hopes for a rate limit reset.

A post says Altman confirmed nothing is shipping this week, with neither GPT-6 Sol nor Codex Bot arriving, and asks whether OpenAI is still working on safety and alignment.

The poster links OpenAI's one-week release delay to the rumored GPT-6 Sol and asks whether the timeline fits, without any screenshots or new evidence.

A user doing real work maxed out all three GPT-5.6 reasoning tiers, Pro, and GPT-6 Pro, and compiled the specific limits listed in OpenAI's documentation.

A satirical translation of Sam Altman's remarks: GPT-6 Sol and Luna were meant to ship this week but were pushed to next week after Opus 5.2 reportedly moved.

A rumor says GPT-6 Sol, originally set for Thursday, has been delayed to next week; it is reportedly in internal testing, and some users claim they were quietly routed to a fast "Sol 6".
