Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

Testing Kling 4.0 in a semi-realistic style, the author finds the visuals stand out and that the full model reproduces more detailed designs than Flash when generating content absent from the reference.

A Japanese user reports Kling 4.0 Flash produced melting artifacts while the non-Flash model held together and moved much more, though with a slightly 3D look.

On the same prompt, the author finds Kling 4 delivers restrained, cinematic micro-expressions while Seedance 2.5 looks overly exaggerated.

Eight 10-second 1080p image-to-video tests on Kling 4.0 and 3.0 with identical inputs, covering photoreal dialogue, 2D and 3D animation, product, action, landscape, multi-shot and FPV, with audio compared.

Kling's official account recaps an LA Tech Week 2026 enterprise production panel and states that Kling 4.0 improves stability across complex motion and camera movement.

Same eight stills and prompts, one generation each: image quality is close, but 4.0 lands the action within the clip (train stops, girl turns, fox sneezes, condensation runs) while 3.0 runs out of time; neither nails the can's quarter turn.

A user's hands-on take on Kling 4.0: unmentioned spaces, backgrounds and props stay consistent, 30-second videos generate quickly, and cost is about one-third of Seedance 2.5.

A user tested Kling 4.0 on Sjinn with a single reference image for R2V, generating at 720p and upscaling with HitPaw, and found the live-action style footage clean enough to consider making films or dramas.

The post says Kuaishou's Kling 4.0 outputs 4K and 10-bit HDR, pitched at short-video commerce and film-explainer creators on image quality.

Same previz and prompt, one take each: Seedance 2.5 follows timing and previz motion more closely, while Kling 4.0 looks better but alters action and turns live-action streets into anime.

A user tested Kling 4.0 on a parkour video, saying character consistency is close to Seedance and output looks good, with the prompt included.

A Tesla Roadster-style ad generated entirely with Kling 4.0 has passed 1.1M views; the post notes clips up to 30 seconds and a mid-October rollout to all users.
