Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

A user who tested Kling 4.0 Flash says fast-motion scenes are a huge improvement over Kling 3.0 and the model did not disappoint.

The post lists Kling 4.0's expected 4K 10-bit HDR, improved lip-sync and stereo sound, up to 15 references, 10 keyframes and native 30-second generation, noting Kling 4.0 Flash is already available for an early look.

A user tried several styles on Kling 4.0 Flash and found it preserves a rough, raw look instead of auto-cleaning it like most models do.

The author says Kling 4.0 produced a 30-second commercial in a single pass from just a girl image, a product image and one prompt, with the assets shared in the replies.

A user rounds up Kling's announcement: October launch, up to 30-second native clips, 10 keyframes, 15 mixed references, 4K/1080p 10-bit HDR and better lip sync, with 2-minute extensions pending, and asks whether it threatens Seedance 2.5.

A first test of Kling 4.0 Flash finds no distortion or morphing, correct physics, good prompt adherence, and faster, cheaper output than 3.0.

A user tested Kling 4.0's improved Japanese with a 30-second two-person conversation, finding the acting realistic, and shared a tutorial and prompt.

A one-image, 20-second single-shot Kling 4.0 Flash clip nails rapid Japanese long dialogue, with only one word's pronunciation slightly off.

The user found Kling 4.0 interprets reference material strongly: with no dialogue in the prompt, it spoke correct lines from image context and even picked up "PTV" from an armband.

A user generates three vintage Hong Kong wuxia clips from one prompt, letting Kling write the dialogue from a basic plot and asking for English dubbing with American accents, which the model delivered.

Kling 4.0 is slated for October with Flash in limited early access, listing 4K/1080p 10-bit HDR, 21:9, 30-second generations, 10 keyframes, 8,000-token prompts and extension up to 2 minutes.

A Japanese news post says Kling 4.0 launches in October with up to 30-second generation to match Seedance 2.5, plus up to 10 multi-keyframes, and lists eight features.
