Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

A creator tests Kling 4.0 Flash with a UGC-style vlog, listing 4K 10-bit HDR, stereo audio and better lip sync, 15 multimodal refs, 10 keyframes, multi-language accents, video extension and editing, plus the full prompt.

A user recreated a battle scene from their own work with Kling 4.0, finding its expressiveness on par with Seedance and the tool notably cost-effective.

An invited beta tester made an Asakusa vlog with Kling 4.0 text-to-video and notes Kling 4.0 Flash is currently limited to Ultra annual members while standard 4.0 is coming soon.

Author reads Kling 4.0 preview specs: official focus on coherent human motion and physics to cut limb and face glitches, deeper long-prompt understanding, and higher image quality.

Same prompt and reference image at 720p for 20 seconds: Kling 4.0 Flash costs roughly ¥12.5 per second versus ¥51 for Seedance 2.5, about ¥250 versus ¥1,000 per clip.

A commenter argues the current comparison pits Kling 4's lower-quality fast model against the world's best video model, and reserves judgment until the full Kling 4 version ships next month.

An early Kling 4.0 Flash test covers writing "Kling 4.0" on a blackboard, Japanese lines and a classroom reaction shot; the author says text-writing, a struggle in 3.0, improved, with a 3.0 comparison in replies.

A user tested Kling 4.0 Flash on a 20-second unedited night taxi scene with three people talking, reporting strong results including the shot cuts.

A user argues Kling Flash should compete with Seedance Mini and hopes the final Kling 4.0 gets close to Seedance, since the market needs a real competitor.

Tester registers two people via Omni reference with one image and voice, scaling from a 10s solo to a 20s two-person single take; voice sounds smoother, faces hold through spins and red light at 720p, though the background street looks off.

A user generates a seaside English-dialogue scene with Kling 4.0 Flash where English and Japanese subtitles come out in the same pass rather than in editing, citing low cost, fast generation and 3–20s clips.

Topview says Kling 4.0 is coming to its platform with 30-second continuous generation, up to 15 full-element reference slots, 1080p output, and an experimental 120-second mode in development.
