Sonnet 5.5 rigs and animates a 3D model into an animated USDZ
The author gave a Tripo-generated 3D model to Sonnet 5.5, which rigged it, made it walk and hold a self-made GM sun flag, and output an animated USDZ ready for AR preview on iPhone.
INSANE 🔥🔥🔥 I took a 3D object created with @tripoai and simply asked @claudeai Sonnet 5.5, without a subscription, to rig it, animate it so it could walk, and make it hold a GM + sun flag that Claude created himself. I thought he was just going to give me a Blender script… but NO: he directly gave me a USDZ file ready for VR/AR on iPhone (for Android, you need a GLB), already animated, exactly like you can see here. 🤯 On the first attempt, the animation didn’t work, because it was using a skeleton/skin, which wasn’t interpreted properly by the iPhone USDZ preview. I simply told him it wasn’t working, and he immediately changed the method: animating the different parts of the object using transformations, which is much more reliable in Quick Look. #AI3D
