The author had Claude Opus 5.5 design a whole submersible, then cut it open to show how 90 mm titanium walls withstand 1,100 bar on a dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

How thick does a wall need to be to keep 1,100 bar out? 90 mm of titanium. I had Claude Opus 5.5 build the whole sub so I could cut it in half and dive it to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. Swap the titanium for the same weight of steel and it collapses 2 km short of the bottom.
