Using Opus 5.5 to speed up development of a AAA browser game
A developer lists four projects wrapping up in October, including a self-built AAA-level browser game made with Opus 5.5 in a speed sprint, with handcrafted assets, gameplay logic and cinematic storytelling.
October will be fire 🔥 A lot of projects are finally coming to an end. It’s not possible to one-shot a business yet. Especially not a serious one. But merging analog with new tech? I can barely predict where that future is heading. You still need years of experience, and a daily business that backs all these side projects. In my PM tool, I’ve marked the end of October as grand opening day for all of them. The list: 1) Our AGI architecture ConTech software for a niche industry • 10 years in the making, built in collaboration • Shipped directly • 9,500 clients in Germany alone, B2B • Live launch right at the Brooklyn Bridge, NY. For a reason. • No social media needed 2) Our SportTech AI hub, built with my angel • 4 years in the making, featured in TV and newspaper • A real haptic product, now with AI • Our own all-natural energy drink and apparel • 120 years of combined business experience in the project team • The craziest guerrilla marketing stunt ever: just a train ticket and a baseball cap • No social media needed 3) My own AAA browser game (yes, it’s possible, at least 2014-level AAA) • Not one-shotted: well-crafted assets, gameplay logic, sound engine, cinematic storytelling like BF1 • Immersive AF, multi-genre and MR • 6 months in the making, now with Opus 5.5 in a speed run • No vibe-code BS. Handcrafted. • No social media needed 4) A quick-and-dirty community project • 1 week in the making • Social media will do the magic You’ll ask what all of this does together, and you can’t see the red thread. It looks chaotic. Meanwhile, I’m walking on it. It’s thin as a razor blade, and very often my hands were bleeding from holding on. But it was necessary. An insight from one project could be used in another. A full graphics engine for the game is also useful for the architecture software, and vice versa. Earlier this year, a former German minister, tier 1, invested in stereotype AI startups told me to focus on one thing. He didn’t understand that my focus was never one project. It’s the path. Every project makes the others stronger. That’s the whole system. Call it a Skynet: the layer that rounds it all off and wraps around everything. Know everything. Everything connected. ♾️ PS: in the Video Terry Benedict stands for the old companies: gatekeepers who overcharge people and rip them off. The casinos stand for the different industries. The Ocean’s Eleven movies were literally tutorial videos for me. 😬 And I have a crew as nuts as I am. 🙌
