Opus 5.5 upgrades a racing game and exports HD video in hours of lazy prompting
A developer used lazy prompting with Opus 5.5 to add drifting, collisions, sparks, engine sounds and more to a racing game in a few hours, plus a sharper 16:9 HD race video export.
gigamicro just got a massive upgrade 🏎️ • cars will now drift in tight corners • drift smoke and skidmarks burned into the track • proper collision implemented • sparks fly when cars bump and scrape for position • engine sounds that change with rarity • giga cars sound like real f1 machines • the winner celebrates with a victory donut • fireworks when a world record falls • shadow added to cars • brake light effect added • cars now wobble when driving on kerbs • more tunes: pick your own race soundtrack • hd export got a glow up: sharper, full 16:9 the video is race #80. probably the first race i ever won, and the first time i saw my #9141 in action. up to that point my other giglings had been a letdown, and i had no idea what a gem i was holding he wasnt the fastest off the line, but nobody in that era could match his finish. he went on to become the highest ranked ever, with an elo of 2032 dis was simpler times. we raced for fun, money was on the table, and dung was slung. back in the good old days of june, which in crypto time was roughly 2 years ago all these changes were done in just a few hours yesterday by lazy prompting opus 5.5 and watching it one shot almost everything. a stark contrast to building gigamicro with opus 4.8 some months ago, where everything was a slow grind even with careful planning and prompting what an amazing simulation we live in
