Opus 5.5 showreels are text files, not project files
An Opus 5.5 showreel has no editor project file; it returns a function that maps a moment in time to a frame, so it can be diffed, forked and reused like code.
every Opus 5.5 showreel is a text file there's no project file in an editor. there's a function that takes a moment in time and returns the frame for it. render it twice and you get the same video twice that sounds like a technical detail. it changes what a video is → you can diff two versions and see which line made the cut land late → you can fork someone's reel and swap the palette in one edit → you can keep a library of transitions the way devs keep a library of functions motion work used to live in project files only one app could open. now it can live in a repo I think the next thing clients ask for is the source, along with the mp4 how these videos get made ↓
