Editor uses Tesseract to generate a whole video's graphics and captions
An editor fed branded assets, an A-roll edit and a Claude-written brief into Tesseract, which nearly one-shotted all the B-roll, and compares its motion graphics feel with Claude Opus 5.5.
Turns out my fear of the Terminal is what kept me from unlocking Tesseract's true power!! I spent 6 hours forcing myself to work with it, and I couldn't be more impressed (and I'm barely scratching the surface!!!) All the graphics (including the captions) you see in this clip were produced in Tesseract. I just gave it a folder with branded assets, my a-roll edit, and a brief that I produced w/ Claude. (Claude just organized my brainstorming rambles into something coherent and usable.) And Tesseract practically one-shotted all the b-roll in this clip. Now, I was already blown away by how Claude opus 5.5 handles motion graphics. But Tesseract feels like a notch above it. I think it's because right now, a lot of what Claude produces feels very templated. Granted, I do need to carry out more testing with references (my hunch is that this will help to reduce a lot of that templated feel). But as for my first impression after spending a decent amount of time with both, Tesseract's outputs feel a lot more carefully crafted. Maaaaan, this is a crazy time to be an editor! @trymirage, y'all have a FANTASTIC product on your hands! I take back what I said yesterday about it not feeling user intuitive. I just had to spend more time with it. That's all. 😅
