Opus 5.5 builds a single-file HTML mechanical watch animation
Opus 5.5 generated one HTML file animating a 109-part, 490-tooth mechanical watch, with a 14-layer exploded view and ticks generated at the exact beat times.
109 parts. 490 gear teeth. 0 image files. Someone under my jet engine post asked for a mechanical watch, so I asked Opus 5.5 to build one. One HTML file. Every wheel is driven by its real tooth count. Change one number and the hands run wrong. 0:03 it flips and shows the movement 0:06 the balance, 18,000 beats an hour 0:10 power runs from the mainspring to the balance 0:17 60x speed, the seconds hand does a full turn every second 0:20 it comes apart into 14 labeled layers The ticks are generated too, at the exact beat times. It’s a concept model, not a watchmaker’s drawing. The pallet and tooth shapes are simplified. What should it take apart next?
