Testing Opus 5.5 on motion graphics and video editing
A former motion graphics professional used Opus 5.5 to produce the seventh draft of a short history of the US feral hog problem, calling it rough but usable and a sign of what AI can do in motion graphics and editing.
When the demo's of Opus 5.5 doing motion graphics and video editing hit X I was skeptical but curious. I used to do this stuff for a living, I know how much work it takes to do it manually and how much effort goes into doing it well. So I thought I'd give it a go, here is the 7th draft of a brief history of the US feral hog problem. Its got a long way to go and I've have fired myself if I ever tried to turn in such sloppy work but it shows promise. The ADHD edits you've all no doubt seen use speed and visual bombardment to cover for a lot of crimes but if you work at it and are clear in your aims you can get usable work. What do you think?
