Opus 5.5 renders a single-take flight through the next 30 years
The author asked Opus 5.5 for a continuous one-shot film from Earth to Mars and back past Earth to the Sun, with every frame rendered by code from real planet maps rather than a video model.
I ASKED OPUS 5.5 TO SHOW ME THE NEXT 30 YEARS. ONE SHOT, NO CUTS. For two days my feed has been full of Fable 5.5 films made from a single prompt. Anthropic hasn't announced that model, and people say some Fable 5.1 chats are getting routed to it. The biggest one has 785K views. Someone asked Fable 5.5 to draw a simple dot and got back a little Pixar-style adventure. So I gave the same kind of prompt to Opus 5.5, which Anthropic says performs at the level of Fable 5.1 on most work, and let it decide what comes next. It came back with five stops: - 2026, Earth at night under a cloud of satellites - 2032, a ring around the planet with space elevators - 2040, a base on the Moon - 2048, cities on Mars - 2056, a swarm of mirrors circling the Sun The clip below is a continuous camera flight from Earth out to Mars, then back past Earth to the Sun. Every frame is rendered by code from real planet maps, with no video model involved. The music came later, a track I picked and had Claude lay under the visuals. And that's the Opus you already have, before Fable 5.5 even ships.
