Promoting the open-source screen recorder BlitzRecorder with an Opus 5.5 video
The author released BlitzRecorder, a free open-source screen and camera recorder for Mac with vertical recording, silence cutting and MCP transcripts, and made the promo video with Opus 5.5.
Introducing BlitzRecorder ! A free, open-source screen + camera recorder for Mac I built it based on 3 things: - I dislike OBS, I wanted something super fast - I wanted to record more vertical videos, and no app let me save vertical layouts - I have a lot of customer calls, and I was always pasting them into ChatGPT to get the transcript and the takeaways What it does: - Records your screen, camera, mic and Mac audio at the same time, vertical or horizontal - Uses your iPhone as the camera - Cuts silences, adds text and zooms, with transcripts made on your Mac - Exports in 4K 60fps, or shares a link like Loom - Exposes an MCP, so ChatGPT or Claude can read your calls and list the takeaways Fully open-source :) http://github.com/blitzreels/blitzrecorder Made the video with Opus 5.5, what do you think ?
