GPT-6 Astra in Practice: Tests, Use Cases, and Feedback

A short post says the user likes Chat GPT 6 Astra, with no further details.

A Japanese designer had Codex turn reference images into an editable AI file, then automatically produced a narrated video with subtitles and diagram switches from a screen recording, defining three completion conditions.

The author used GPT-6 Astra and HyperFrames to generate a fictional Apple-style launch video introducing a new CEO.

A Japanese news roundup compares Astra and Fable: Astra is strong at computer operation, automation, math and token efficiency, while Fable is strong at general intelligence and long knowledge work.

Tibo says model quality is unchanged, but long-tail tasks now draw less from the ChatGPT subscription, and heavy users report saving usage.

The post claims users can keep running GPT-6 Astra and GPT-5.6 Pro after Codex quota runs out without paying extra, and includes a video demo; it is a quota-bypass claim.

OpenAI says that when logged in with a ChatGPT account, Astra power users' long-tail usage can drop to as little as a quarter of before, with no change in quality.

The author says the piece took only half an hour and admits it isn't perfect, but the speed of output makes Astra feel unreal to them.

A researcher asked GPT-6 Astra for a jellyfish protein fused to an immune signaling molecule, and it ran AlphaFold and returned a 3D structure in about a minute; the poster notes a good-looking structure doesn't prove it folds and wet-lab queues will get longer.

The author asked GPT-6 Astra to build an exploded view for an atomistic simulation, turning a GPCR in its membrane into a grid of individual molecules with a lipid close-up.

An early access tester says Jensen Huang has confirmed that GPT-6 Astra is AGI, and recalls calling it that at release.

An Arabic post relays Jensen Huang announcing that AGI has officially arrived, congratulating OpenAI, and saying GPT-6 Astra was trained on more than 100,000 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell NVLink72 chips.
