GPT-6 Sol leaks, screenshots and release rumors

A post separates GPT-6 as the model family from Astra as its flagship, says OpenAI is reportedly working on GPT-6 Sol, Terra and Luna as tiered models, and relays alleged early Sol test results from zai Discord circles.

A Chinese post says Sol is already in internal testing, running very fast but weaker overall than Astra, with timing and token figures for an SVG and a voxel scene.

A leak claims Sol is already being tested inside OpenAI and could launch at DevDay on September 29, possibly alongside GPT-6 Luna.

A rumor says Sol is a lighter version of Astra built to run computational tasks cheaply and efficiently, and the poster worries that turning chat into a pure work tool will hit an AGI ceiling.

A leak says OpenAI is internally testing GPT-6 Sol, which is fast but below Astra, may launch at DevDay on September 29, and should give Plus users better usage limits than Astra.

A self-described reliable source says OpenAI is working on GPT-6 Astra, Sol, Terra and Luna, with a rough mapping to the previous Fable, Opus, Sonnet and Haiku tiers.

A poster says the leaked GPT-6 Sol test matches other recent results: weaker than Astra overall but faster, fitting a cheap workhorse model.

A poster claims GPT-6 Sol entered internal testing just 3 days after GPT-6 Astra launched, and shares a screenshot of an early output.

The post says Astra is the expensive flagship while OpenAI is developing the cheaper Sol as a daily model, and predicts a Sol, Luna and Terra family soon.

A Chinese leak says GPT-6 Sol is in internal testing: very fast but weaker than Astra overall, completing a 3D city task zero-shot in 15 minutes with 60k tokens.

A post claims Sol is in internal testing, that its outputs are currently worse than Astra, and that it could launch at Dev Day on September 29.

hakmgpt cites the same leakers who previously revealed Astra, saying GPT-6 Sol is now in internal testing and a public release could follow soon.
